Headquartered in Amstelveen near Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, KLM, (expanding to Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V. (Royal Aviation Company) is Netherlands’ flag carrier airline. It was merged with Air France in 2004 and is a part of the SkyTeam Alliance.It serves 133 destinations in over 69 countries and offers current services of 10 flights to Amsterdam from Dubai in UAE. From Abu Dhabi, there are 6 weekly flights to Amsterdam operated in code-share with Air France. There are around 22 weekly flights to Europe from UAE operated by KLM-Air France group. It also has the most number of services from Dubai to Durham Tees Valley. The airline has its stronghold in Greater China with a total of 54 flights a week and is larger than much other flight operator in Europe over Greater China. However, its services to Sydney, Australia have been stopped since March 2001. The airline has a fleet strength of 118 aircraft and has ordered 27 more for the coming years.The airline offers three classes of travel to its guests and they are the World Labor Class, Economy Encourage Class and Economy Class. In the World Business Class, the seats can recline increase to 175 degrees offering a near flat bed, and is equipped plus terminals for AVOD, privacy canopy, massaging functionality and power ports for laptops.
